The Pelvis

Join Chris Reed for this face to face, interactive, hands-on workshop exploring the pelvis above and below.

Chris will deconstruct some of the most common issues your clients present with for this important and complex region of the body and give you strategies to follow further increasing your confidence and the effectiveness of your treatments.

This workshop explores:

  • Relevant anatomy
  • Targeted Assessments
  • Common pathologies of the pelvis and related regions above and below
  • Relevant Bowen procedures at all levels
  • Rehabilitation and the best “send home advice” for different presentations
  • Bowen and RockTape applications
  • Exercise during pregnancy

Many of our clients present with pelvic, lateral hip, and related lumber or leg pain. This workshop and the accompanying workbook provide up to date information the Bowen therapist can use to assist in determining a good clinical impression through knowledge of common differentials and validated clinical tests. Allowing the Bowen therapist to proceed with the most effective treatment within the Bowen therapy framework.

Pelvic-related issues are one of the most common presentations at many Bowen clinics. Research tells us that almost 25% of women over the age of 50 are known to have pelvic-related pain, and these clients tend to be a large proportion of our Bowen demographic.

Powerpoint will be used and a digital workbook will be provided.
