Our new Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy 11273NAT launched on 1 February 2025.

Key Changes to the New Certificate IV:

• The new course includes an additional unit of competency: Conduct e-marketing communications designed to enhance your marketing skills for the online space.
• This course is not equivalent to the previous Certificate IV (10846NAT).
• All students enrolling in 2025 will be enrolled in the new course.

Options for students who enrolled prior to 1 February 2025:

• Migrate to the New Course: You have the option to transition from 10846NAT to the new 11273NAT course and complete the additional unit, ensuring you receive the most up-to-date qualification.
• Stay on the Current Course: You may choose to complete your current course (10846NAT) without the additional unit. However, all coursework must be finished by the end of 2025, as we can only issue qualifications for the current course within a limited timeframe. If you don't complete it by then, you’ll need to transfer to the new course.

Students enrolling from 1 February 2025 will automatically be enrolled in the new course.

Our new Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy 11274NAT launched on 1 February 2025. The new Diploma is equivalent to the previous Diploma (10847NAT). All students who enrolled before February 2025 will automatically transition to the new 11274NAT qualification, ensuring you graduate with the most up-to-date certification.

No, we don't offer online learning for the practical modules. Here's why. Distance learning is available for the theory units.

Our courses run continuously in many locations around Australia throughout the year. You can commence your distance learning one month before Module 1. Keep in mind you need to complete the Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy 11273NAT within 12-18 months and the Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy 11274NAT within 12-24 months.

Our courses are Pay-As-You-Go, meaning you only pay for the module(s) you enrol into. This spreads your total course cost over 12-18 months for the Cert IV and 12-24 months for the Diploma.

The Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy 11273NAT and Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy 11274NAT are offered part-time to optimise your learning and fit in with your lifestyle. The Certificate IV must be completed in a minimum of 12 months and a maximum of 18 months. The Diploma must be completed in a minimum of 12 months and a maximum of 24 months.

You must complete the Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy 11273NAT before completing the Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy 11274NAT.

Practical classes start at Module 1, however some trainers offer modules in a combined format so you can attend your hands-on training in a more condensed timetable. Single Modules:

• Begin at Module 1.
• Each module is a 2-day class.
• Modules 1-7 are held approximately 4-8 weeks apart.

Combined Modules:

• Modules 1 & 2 are combined into a 4-day class.
• Combined modules are held approximately 8-12 weeks apart.
• Modules 1-6 are combined over 4 days each, with Module 7 as a 2-day class.

Scheduling Options: Most trainers offer classes on weekends. Some also offer evening classes on weekdays. Contact your local trainer here to explore timetable options and get started.

The units, Preparation Theory (comprising Infection Control and Workplace Health and Safety), are due to be completed via distance learning before Module 1. You can register at any time for Module 1, but keep in mind these units need completing before you attend your first class with us.
